We're supposed to write 500 word essays on them. how fun.

So. Homework and stuff. Sorry for not posting it earlier. I'll go through the tme table and all the stuff we did so you don't get lost okay?

MONDAY:

CE-
okay we were deemed contagious, so stuck we were with Mrs Wong.
We went through half of lesson FOUR.

CL-
2/2: We went through some stories on motherly/fatherly love. or something like that. And we started on words from the textbook.

hcl- uh i'll have to find out, so hold on.

tamil- same here.

SCIENCE-
We looked at a thermos flask. no wait, we observed it. And mrs tan talked a bit.

LIT-
Mrs Alex briefed us about the school survey thing. she said the same stuff as mrs wong: like don't just complain and stuff.
Went through Merchant of Venice. 1 part. the one after portia talking, about the deal with shylock.

MATHS-
finished up lesson FOUR.

Structured Questions: Based on semester 2's work. (globalwarming/ ozone depletion, pollution and water supply) There'll be 3 questions.

I know Mrs Wong probably called you guys up asking about your travel history and stuff. If she hasn't, wait patiently, you'll get her call.

Anyway, just a summary, please print out the Travel Declaration Form from the school website, complete it and bring your thermometer and the form on Monday, the 29th of June.

(yeah, there's no extra holiday)

The travel declaration form has to be completed REGARDLESS of whether you've been out of the country or not, so you'll still have to print it out.

Oh yes, I'm still waiting for my IJ game ideas. Don't wait for me to go "Want me to show you a magic trick", next thing you know is that pencil is embedded into your foreheads.

Ok, ok, joke. But I would really like those game ideas in some time soon, even though the damn deadline I gave was 1 April. If I cannot meet the number of games I've listed on the paper, I'll just tell the councillor in charge we're dropping the game. All I need at the most to say is twenty words, and we're free of this 'burden'. Do you really want that, or do you want to contribute something back to the school we all belong in?

I'll wait till 1 April. You know what will happen if I don't get the figures I want.

phew just reading this stuff makes me dizzy.

1) could we have a class comm on mon. until 2.15? that' probably the only day before thurs that everyone can make it. or maybe sacrifice our recess? needs discussion i guess.

2) well as for the fiesta thing, i think the papper thing is quite a good idea. but i'm afraid some people might get left out if the groups are too big. as in their ideas won't be heard or they might slack or smt. we'll have to think about this.

3) as for class tee, i think we've waited long enough, we should let the class vote by next weekend.

4) NE living space. i think that the class is seriously too busy to do anything more for this. we'll just have to use the reflection thing.

5) ooo i think the fuzzies is a good idea, BUT people might not like it. i'll try to think of a way to make it more fun. i mean everyone loves getting letters, but who would actually write them if not forced? and we don't want to force the class to do anything right?

we-ell, as for the responding thing, i think we have to ask them personally for ideas, i think talking to them one on one in our own time is better as they tend to open up more. maybe they're scared that if they say smt dumb the class might laugh at them, so they don't speak up at class discussions. hehe that's how i felt last year

Alrighty, yo again 2/1s...

this year's living space is compulsory, sadly, so we really do need to 'adopt' a place we can rightfully claim as our NE living space.

Proposals are due 6th Feb and implementations are due on 16th Feb, so that means we got to have a place in mind by the 6th, and we have to PUT something in that space by the 16th.

So, along with the NE Photo thing and the IJ Fiesta proposals, please think about our NE living space.
